Word Window

As we start to dismantle the classroom for the end of the year it’s wonderful to see all of the hard work the Year Two students have put into their own classroom displays. Room 15 have particularly enjoyed creating the Word Wall/ Window. Students have added to the Word Window daily, even going home and looking up as many as 30 words to bring in the next day! Not only have the students created the Word Window themselves, they’ve also consistently used these words in their writing and in general conversation. One student even informed me that my desk was ‘atrociously messy’. As we try to remove all of our displays students are still coming to me every single day with more words to add!
